To set up a UPI account, download any UPI-enabled app, link your bank account, create a UPI ID, and set a UPI PIN for secure transactions. The process takes only a few minutes to complete.
Yes, UPI is highly secure with end-to-end encryption and two-factor authentication for each transaction. Your bank account details are never shared with merchants or recipients during payments.
The current UPI transaction limit is ₹1 lakh per transaction. However, your bank may have its own daily transaction limits. There is no limit on the number of transactions you can make in a day.
For failed transactions, check your bank account to confirm if money was debited. Most failed transactions are auto-reversed within 5 business days. If not resolved, contact your bank or UPI app's customer support.
